Did you know?
There is no definition of how fast an internet connection should be before it is described as a broadband connection. (It’s a bit like asking how fast does a car have to be before it becomes a sports car?) However, most standard modems currently connect at 28 or 56kbps (where ‘kbps’ stands for kilo-bits per second, and a ‘bit’ is a single unit of information). But with a broadband connection, you’ll experience connection speeds of up to 2Mbps (megabits per second)!
